Not many people have heard of the Sagittarius of Saint Petersburg company. This is a company that produces some of the most exclusive and beautiful fireplaces and indoor design features in the world. If you are interested in circular fireplaces then these are the craftsmen that brought the idea to the next level. Last year, they built a spectacular copper globe about six feet in diameter. The globe is hollow and is cup in half. It also contains a perfect map of the world on the outside surface. The two halves are separated and the bottom half acts fireplaces while the top half acts as a hood, with a pipe up to the ceiling to act as a chimney. While this may sound like something that is a little bit beyond the reach of your average home owner, something that you certainly can look into, and that is surprisingly practical, is a circular fireplace.
Circular fireplaces are quite a new concept for residential purposes and while they have long existed in certain contexts, they have been very rare to find in homes. However, the main requirement for a circular fireplace is simply that you have the space for a fire in the middle of a room. Other than that there is nothing too complicated about a round fireplace that would prohibit you from having one. The main thing that people say the love about round fireplaces is that you can actually sit ‘around’ them. You will however, require a pretty large room for a round fireplace. This makes it a lot easier to place and can give you the same relaxing feeling when you and your family or friends sit around it.
Circular fireplaces work in the same way as other fireplaces with a hearth on the ground, and a hood over the fire that will catch the smoke and take it out of the chimney.
